Amity issues a statement that all factions may seek refuge there as long as they reside in peace. Starting where the last book left off, Tris, Four, Caleb Prior, Peter Hayes, and Marcus Eaton travel to Amity, where several surviving Abnegation are settled in. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.
